Art’s love for landscape design began early.  He completed his first residential installation at the age of 12 which codified his obsession with plants and design.  It was not until over 10 years later that Art would pursue this passion as a profession.  Beginning with a job as a field tech, Art honed his skill set to include irrigation, planting techniques and so much more.  Longing to create, Art soon returned to designing residential spaces for local clients throughout Southern California.  He held a variety of roles at several landscape construction firms in both design and management positions.  Art also had the pleasure to serve as a production designer for several reality TV series and his work is featured on HGTV, DIY, Animal Planet and TLC networks.  He has created projects large and small and treats each step with meticulous attention to detail.  Like a true plant nerd, he spends his free time propagating tropical ornamental plants, growing food crops, hiking in the woods and spending as much time outdoors as possible with Angus, his 12-year-old dachshund.  With an eye toward aesthetic value, Art creates spaces that serve the needs of the client and the planet in harmony.
